With the help of Samos the Sage, the pair learn that they must save their world from Gol and Maia Acheron, who plan to flood it with dark eco.Jak and Daxter starts with a journey to Misty Island, during which Daxter gets knocked into a vat of stuff called Dark Eco. Rather than improving his disposition and exfoliating his skin, the Dark Eco turns Daxter into a small otter-like creature. Jak, being the good buddy that he is, decides to make a journey with Daxter to find the only person with the knowledge to cure his newly furry friend.This is a game on the PS2 that rivals other platforming greats like Mario and Sonic!
